Hamden Slough National Wildlife Refuge.
For some reason the state of Minnesota decided to call the road you take to get here a highway, when in reality it's more of a mud slip-n-slide with a side of gravel. There's a deer here that when startled, will decide to run directly towards you instead of running away. Doesn't seem like a great survival instinct, but he definitely gets an "A" for effort. Besides Darwin-Award winning deer, Hamden Slough has several lakes and hiking trails which are worth checking out. Just don't get stuck in the Mud-pocolaypse on the way there.
For the record, this Bald Eagle's camouflage has to seem real unfair to all the animals that it hunts. It blends into the trees and bark almost perfectly.
